A working week involving social movements from different continents is planned to be held during the World Social Forum – WSF that will take place between May 1st and 6th, 2022, in Mexico City. The TMP-E will be participating in the activities under the theme Peace Building, Migration, Borders as well as strategies addressing war.
## INTERFOROS Migrations
The call signed by a group of organizations aims to debate a methodology revitalization of the World Social Forum on Migration’s organization and, based on the experience of the regional forums, to carry out a balance of these processes: their contributions, impacts, and perspectives for reflecting and constructing future actions.
What is the World Social Forum on Migration achieving? What instances of organization and participation can be constructed?
Transnational Migrant Platform-Europe will participate in the three workshops held in ENTRE FOROS Migraciones (May 3rd and 4th) seeking to strengthen the mobilization.
Workshop 1: Updates, reflection and balance of the Regional Forums. May 3rd 12.00 UCT.
Workshop 2: Thematic discussions about displaced people (militarization, necropolitics…). May 3rd 14-00-16.00 UCT.
Workshop 3: Strategies and perspectives on the future. Where and how to hold new forums? May 4th 10.00-12.00 UCT.
Now, more than ever, it is necessary to jointly raise proposals and alternatives to construct guarantees to secure the right to migrate and to migrate with rights.
